ABOUT THE EVENT
Wags and Whiskers is a collaborative fundraising event hosted by several of the Outer Banks organizations dedicated to improving the lives of animals in our county and beyond!

The event features an evening of entertainment including live music, a silent auction, dancing, and amazing food. Individuals and community businesses sponsor the event with financial contributions and the donation of auction items. All proceeds are dispersed among the hosting organizations.

Thank you for your support and we'll see you on the dance floor!

Hosting Organizations
Feline Hope is an all volunteer organization that provides
spay, neuter, and medical assistance to our community to enable owners to keep their pets. We sponsor low cost spay neuter clinics that include the vaccines.
We are also dedicated to providing food, medical care, shelter, and finding loving homes for homeless cats and kittens. We are a strong supporter of TNVRM Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return-Manage with ongoing projects in Dare and Currituck counties.
Coastal Humane Society is an all-volunteer organization that
has helped more than 7,700 OBX animals and their families
since 1997. Our mission is to help people help their pets. In
partnership with OBX veterinarians, Coastal Humane helps
pay for low cost spay/neuter, vaccinations, and emergency
medical care, sponsors pet food banks for owners needing help with ongoing pet care or disaster recovery, and funds low-cost dog and cat vaccination clinics throughout Dare and lower Currituck counties.
FOP is an all-volunteer non-profit organization which provides sizeable financial assistance to qualified residents of Dare and Currituck Counties whose dogs/cats need cancer treatment (including palliative care) or are facing emergency medical situations. We provide our clients with both emotional and financial support as well as directing them to other community resources and sources for additional financial support.
